This is a cake I carved and decorated to look like an army recruiter badge. The body is white fondant with a green fondant ring. The green lettering was done with a spray-on icing and some stencils I cut out--by hand. The eagle at the top is a sugar cookie with royal icing to give a bright shiny gold look.
